How does the AI actually detect scams?
Every scan goes through our 6-stage pipeline. It starts with your input (link, text, image, or audio), then Claude AI analyzes it for social engineering patterns and red flags. We cross-check URLs against 90+ vendors via VirusTotal, compare against our semantic memory of known scam patterns, scan any media files, and then Aegis silently reviews the final decision before it's returned to you.
Can it detect scams in images or voice messages?
Yes. Send any photo, audio clip, voice note, or PDF. Our multimodal AI analyzes media across formats and returns a risk score with reasoning.
What happens if Aegis catches a mistake?
Aegis operates silently in the background. If the primary AI is uncertain or about to return a false result, Aegis blocks it and either corrects the score or flags it for review. You never see the mistakes.
How fast are the results?
Most scans return a full risk score with detailed reasoning in under 10 seconds.
What is MEV and why do I need protection?
MEV (Maximal Extractable Value) is when bots extract value from your DeFi transactions — sandwich attacks, front-running, JIT liquidity attacks. Abyssal detects these in real time and either alerts you or automatically blocks them before they hit your wallet.
Do you store my wallet address or personal data?
No. We log only scan metadata (timestamp, chain, risk score, input type) for product improvement. We never store private keys, wallet balances, or personal identifiers.
